I always love getting to photograph our friend’s babies, and sweet baby Harper was no exception! I have never in my life seen such an excited big sister, and I know Ella  is going to be SUCH a big help to her Mom and Dad.

Speaking of Dad…you may need to start polishing your shot gun with these two gorgeous girls you’ve got! :)

This was the second session in Bennett’s baby plan! (You can see his newborn session HERE.)

We decided to head to a near by park in Denton to grab some family photographs and some of the little man on his own. And man, was it ever WINDY! We had to get a little creative with hiding from the wind but we got some really great images.

I always love the “sitting” session of the Baby’s First Year Plan. It is always such a HUGE transformation from that newborn session. I just love it!

I would say that most of my clients come as referrals, so I always feel lucky when I gain an awesome client who found me through Google :) I instantly fell in love with this family – I LOVE their sense of humor. They had me cracking up as soon as I walked in the door!

Little Arran’s newborn session went so wonderfully! He was a super-chill-squishable- chunk and so easy to work with! And big sister even got to play hookey from school to come take some pics with us too!

Moving on to Baby Baugh: Part 2! (See Part 1 HERE)

Mere days after photographing this little guy’s birth, we all trucked out to their family land where we did Mom’s Maternity pictures a few weeks before! I had actually never done a newborn session outside before, but I was so excited to try it! It definitely has its challenges compared to shooting indoors, but it was so fun to do something a little different. And I am always a sucker for nostalgia – so doing the newborn pictures on their family land, which already holds a huge chunk of meaning to his parents, was a MUST.

Oh and check out his newborn announcement – I took the image for them but can’t take credit for the idea or the actual announcement. That was all mama! I just thought it was so creative! LOVED IT!

no one should ever have to clean all that up off the floor.

Remember this maternity session that got rescheduled 4 times? Introducing…..Brock! (You can check out his newborn session HERE)

I was supposed to photograph this little guy’s birth….but someone decided to come SUPER fast, and UPSIDE DOWN!

So I barely made it to the hospital in time to catch them coming out of the emergency c-section.

But even so, I got some beautiful images of this new family getting to know each other in their very first moments together. Mommy was so happy. Daddy was so proud. And little Brock was warm, and snugly, and sweet as ever.

Welcome to the world little man! You are very loved!

I can officially say that this maternity session was my most “rescheduled” session EVER. I think we rescheduled this session due to rain, 4 times? It was crazy! But I think that the wait was well worth it! We traveled up to their family’s land, where they plan to build there “forever” home in the near future. I am a little jealous, it was just GORGEOUS up there! And so rich with their own family’s history – all the way back from 1918. I just love that. I am a sucker for nostalgia :)

And this session was FULL of it! This adorable blue and green chair was Shelby’s grandparents, and the stick horse was Mom’s when she was a little girl, and the last images were taken on top of a cliff, overlooking the red river where the two of them got engaged!

The 3 of us had so much fun during their session, and good thing we have so much fun together, because I will be photographing this little guy’s birth ANY TIME NOW, and then his newborns a week after that!

Hope you guys don’t get tired of me! We’re going to be spending a lot of time together! :)

When Olivia’s mom contacted me to schedule a newborn session, I had no idea what a special baby I was going to get to photograph. You see, this was no ordinary newborn session and Olivia is no ordinary newborn! First off, Olivia is actually 5 months old, but her adjusted age is only about 1 month.

Olivia is actually one of 4 sisters – quadruplets! Sadly though, while Olivia is here in her loving mother and father’s arms, her sisters are already up in heaven, no doubt in the arms of the Lord.

Once I learned the story behind Olivia, and her family – I was completely honored to have been chosen to capture this time for their family!

Olivia is such a fighter! And there is no doubt in my mind that the Lord has big plans, for this little girl.

This little guy was such a perfect little model! Honestly, I don’t think he made a PEEP the entire session! There was so much beautiful natural light in this family’s home, I was absolutely in heaven! Beautiful baby, beautiful light, beautiful mommy, all made for some beautiful images! Can’t wait to work with this little guy again in a few months!

Little MB just celebrated her First Birthday too – along with her friend!
This sweet girl has ALWAYS got a smile on her face, just like her mama! They are both just a joy to photograph and I am so glad that I have met this adorable family! Happy Birthday MB!!!!
