I love this session. As you can see it was so beautiful and I love how calm, bright and fresh the images are from this session. Baby Hayes was welcomed into this awesome family with lots of love, especially from his big brother 🙂 Can’t wait to watch you grow, like I have your bro! Kendall Stoy Photography_Childrens_Photography_Denton_Frisco_Dallas_0033

For Ms. Sophie’s birthday portraits, we traveled to the Dallas Arboretum and had so much fun! I just love photographing this age, when they first begin toddling around! And they are not fast enough to run away from me yet! haha!

Happy Birthday Sophie! So glad I got to photograph your first year of life! You are a doll!

I am sure by now, many of you are familiar with little Mr. Brock.

I was lucky enough to be a part of his birth, here.

his newborn photographs, here.

and now, here we are at 6 months old. Brock is sitting up, and moving around, but most of all SMILING. Seriously one of the happiest babies I have ever met!

We had so much fun capturing his personality in his adorable room (good job, mama!) and in the field behind their home!

Make sure to take a look at that gorgeous crib that Brock’s daddy made, by HAND,from a tree on their family land! Totally amazing!

For the second session in Arran’s Baby Plan year, we headed to the country to get some fun family shots in.

Just so happened that the horses decided they WOULD get their camera time in too…and they did 🙂

I just wish we had brought some carrots with us!!!

After our fun time with the horses though, we managed to get some gorgeous images of these kiddos – can’t wait to see what we do for their next session!

Maybe more farm animals???

This was Oliver’s second baby plan session with me! His newborn session went amazing and I was so excited to go back and shoot at their home, because the lighting in there is just beautiful! And Oliver did not disappoint! Full of smiles and lots of fun, his “sitting” session was a breeze! Can’t wait to see how much he grows for his ONE YEAR session! Yea!

This was the second session in Bennett’s baby plan! (You can see his newborn session HERE.)

We decided to head to a near by park in Denton to grab some family photographs and some of the little man on his own. And man, was it ever WINDY! We had to get a little creative with hiding from the wind but we got some really great images.

I always love the “sitting” session of the Baby’s First Year Plan. It is always such a HUGE transformation from that newborn session. I just love it!

Moving on to Baby Baugh: Part 2! (See Part 1 HERE)

Mere days after photographing this little guy’s birth, we all trucked out to their family land where we did Mom’s Maternity pictures a few weeks before! I had actually never done a newborn session outside before, but I was so excited to try it! It definitely has its challenges compared to shooting indoors, but it was so fun to do something a little different. And I am always a sucker for nostalgia – so doing the newborn pictures on their family land, which already holds a huge chunk of meaning to his parents, was a MUST.

Oh and check out his newborn announcement – I took the image for them but can’t take credit for the idea or the actual announcement. That was all mama! I just thought it was so creative! LOVED IT!

Remember this maternity session that got rescheduled 4 times? Introducing…..Brock! (You can check out his newborn session HERE)

I was supposed to photograph this little guy’s birth….but someone decided to come SUPER fast, and UPSIDE DOWN!

So I barely made it to the hospital in time to catch them coming out of the emergency c-section.

But even so, I got some beautiful images of this new family getting to know each other in their very first moments together. Mommy was so happy. Daddy was so proud. And little Brock was warm, and snugly, and sweet as ever.

Welcome to the world little man! You are very loved!

I know I say this a lot, but seriously – LOVE this family. I have so much fun with them. Hopefully they can say the same for me…..hehe.

I am so glad they are doing a baby plan for Mr. Henry, so I get to see them all the time 🙂  Although this was technically Henry’s 6 month session, we made sure to get lots of great family shots, as well as some of big sister, Charlotte   We did their newborn session in their beautiful home, so this time we shook things up and bit and headed outdoors!

The sun was setting and the weather was beautiful so we had a great time, even though we had to deal with what seemed to be a PLAGUE of grass burrs, or “stickers” as I referred to them, which greatly confused Charlotte.

Stickers are good. Grass Burrs are NOT.

Can’t wait for our next session with this awesome family!
